Title: Terastation TS5400R14E losing permissions on reboot.
Post by: eoins on September 21, 2015, 09:30:04 AM
Hi,
I have a very annoying problem with the Terastation. Putting it simply, every time I reboot the terastation it loses the permissions I have set to the shared folders.

It is setup with LVM , and I have created individual folders for each user, and assigned Active directory permission to each shared folder. We use it to backup mac books using time machine and I have to say it works really well for this. However, when we make any change or need to reboot it I need to re-apply all the permissions as it seems to reset everything. Maybe this is by design but if anyone has a solution to this it would be very helpful.

thanks
