Title: How to FTP from LS410 remotely
Post by: sumdumgai on September 18, 2015, 09:45:33 AM
I've FTP'd from other NAS storage before but cannot figure out how to FTP to/from my Buffalo LS410.  Setting the host name to the IP of the NAS only works if I'm on my own network.  How do I set up FTP from outside my network?  Thanks.

You will need to forward TCP port 21 through your firewall to the LinkStation. How specifically to accomplish this depends on the router you're using.
