Title: Replicating from WS-QVL/R5 to a linkstation
Post by: compuhustler on September 07, 2015, 02:56:03 PM
I am new here, so please forgive any mistakes I may make...

I am using my WS-QVL/R5 (Terastation Pro) as a backup repository, and it seems to be working well.  Here is the catch, I need to get those backups offsite.  I have a Linkstation (LS-WXL310) at a home, connected via a gateway VPN.  I am simply trying to get Backup and Replication to do either of their namesakes.  I have added the Linkstation, and can see the shared folder.  I can created either a backup or replication job, but when I click SAVE, I receive the error:  "Failed to save the exception."

I have tried reboots and upgrading the firmware on both ends (Linkstation - 1.71, Terastation - 2.50), no go.  I am fairly certain the problem is on the Terastation end, but I could really use some guidance on how to run this down.

Thank you in advance!
Joel
