Title: Performance issues after upgrading to Firm1.71 on Linkstation LS-WXL
Post by: jurrabi on September 01, 2015, 02:14:44 AM
Since the upgrade I'm having horrible performance, averaging 1.5MB/s read transfers but with constant drops to 100KB or even worst. I mainly use the unit to store my media files and access them through samba network share from my kodi media clients. Now I can't watch even SD files without them pausing all the time and even stop playing.

I have checked the gigabit connection is OK (in both the client PC and the Linkstation) and get the same performance independently if I use samba or ftp (the only 2 services active in the NAS, all others deactivated).

I would like to go back to 1.65 but I'm not sure if that's possible...

Any similar issues?

Hallo.
I also have performance problems after upgrading to 1.7.
I have a printer connected to my Linkstation and after the firmware upgrade I wait several seconds for my applications to find the printer on the network.
I have tried to restart the Linkstation and the print server service but nothing changed.
Any idea on how to resolve?
