Title: icon does not appear on mac desktop
Post by: ritchiej on June 06, 2009, 05:02:00 PM

Hello - I cannot get my Buffalo back-up drive icon to show up on my desktop.

Diskwarrior was used to confirm that it could 'see' the drive, and it confirmed that the icon SHOULD appear on the desktop.

I also zapped the PRAM and set the selector switch to 'Auto' on the drive; none of which worked

The drive has been working fine for over two years.

Specs.:

Computer: eMac; 1.25 GHz; PowerPC G4

Drive: HD-HB160U2-WR

Thanks,

James R.

But as you can see this is a known issue that we are presently trying to correct.
