Title: Linkstation LS-CHL - DLNA does not work after upgrading to firmware 1.71
Post by: aricardol on August 18, 2015, 02:03:36 PM
Hi everyone,

After firmware uptade to 1.71 version, the linkstation are not updating the videos and music with other devices. I have this equipment to 5 years and never had problems, but after firmware update to 1.71 version, the DLNA simply does work. I've tried everything, but not solving.

Would anyone have any suggestions or can Judar me with this?

Try running Nas Navigator. My  LS-CHL now shows up as LS-CHL-V2 Series.
My Linkstation LS-CHL was upgraded through the web interface to ver 1.71. I never had a problem with this until then. Now my printserver doesn't work. I don't use DNLA. The latest firmware on buffalo site for LS-CHL with blue light is ver 1.12. I think Buffalo wrongly allowed ver 1.71 to be installed on LS-CHL. Anyone else haveing problems with ver 1.71 and a LS-CHL (not V2)?

3 years ago I have the same trouble

If you have the old firmaware reflash that

to downgrade you need the zip file of old version and then modify "LSUpdater.ini" to set flags VersionCheck = 0
