Title: Does the recycle bin ever empty itself?
Post by: pmckay on August 15, 2015, 07:37:29 PM
The doc is very clear on how files get into the recycle bin.

I know that when the recycle bin is set for a shared folder, that deleted files get temporarily moved to the recycle bin.
And I understand that the files can be manually deleted and that one can turn off the recycle bin.

Do files ever get deleted automatically by the system?

No, I'm afraid they don't. Files in the recycle bin have to be removed manually.
