Title: LS-WXL Issue - New Hard Drives
Post by: dialatech on August 14, 2015, 04:00:02 PM
Good Evening

Well I've  got a LS-WXL and both hard drives failed at the same time (Just my luck). So I got two brand new 2TB Hard drives. formatted both of them into NTFS,Put them in the nas drive, Download the Image for my NAS drive. Give my laptop a static IP of 192.168.11.1.Booted up the NAS drive and ran the TFTP boot.exe. I get all the right messages within the CMD window. The blue light goes solid and I would except the NAS to be seen within NAS Navigator but nothing....

Can anyone help with this issue?

If you follow the following link

http://forums.buffalotech.com/index.php?topic=10185.0

That will help you get your device boot into EM mode, NAS Navigator should then pick it up and you should be able to do a firmware update.

Anyone got any advice for my issue?
