Title: Firmware update...
Post by: anystroem on August 12, 2015, 01:35:34 AM
So, I'm clearly out of my league here but need to ask before I do something stupid. I just received a message that my LS-WX4.0TL/R1 needs a new firmware update, or at least it's telling me to update it.
As I have never done anything like it, I'm wondering if I need to remove all the files I have on the disks before trying to update it (yes, I want to keep the files). It seems to me that it would be a must, but it is a lot of data, so I figured I'd ask before setting out to do this.

Updating the firmware does not affect the data but you should have a backup at all times.
