Title: TS-XE8.0TL/R5 problem
Post by: Partagas on August 09, 2015, 02:01:56 AM
Hi to you. I have a TS-XE8.0TL/R5 in Raid5. A few days ago suddenly my shares were no more accessible in Windows Explorer.
I've shut down the TeraStation and after restart the orange light was on. All shares were visible and accessible in Windows Explorer.
The message in display said: l17 Checking Array1
The disk lights were all green
After several hours: l12, The RAID array works in degrade mode
Then after a few more hours: E30: An error has occurred on disk 1
E30: An error has occurred on disk 2
E30: An error has occurred on disk 3
E30: An error has occurred on disk 4
No red lights but only the two upper disk-lights are green now. The other two have no lights on.
Than: RAID array1 can not be mounted

NAS Navigater says:
TS-XE8.0TL/R5, HDD (Raid5) Unformatted

The orange Info light is still on

I did NOT touch the TeraStation for a few day because iI think it is still doing something in the background. The message in display says: Resyncing Array1
Is there still any hope the system will recover?
