I have a home network which my LS-XL87A is connected to . Last night I had a power outage and now I cannot access my HDD on the network. I cannot access the web interface, I cannot see the HDD in my network. I cannot ping it, open it up by putting the host name in the run command, running NAS navigator - nothing.  I do have a network link light on the HDD. On the front of the HDD I have a blue light that is flashing constantly. I do have internet access and can see other devices on the network. There is no other way to connect to this device except through the nic card
What I've done.
1)Even though you're not supposed to power down with lights flashing I had no choice, so I've already tried that. Had to un-plug power, it has no switch
2) I have a router built into my modem and tried connecting through that one. No luck.
3) I tried running the setup from the CD-Rom on a different PC. Says it cannot locate the device on the network.

If I get no suggestions, I will probably try pull the HDD out of the case and put it into a different enclosure to try to access it.

Not only  do I have all my personal pictures, financial info, family genealogy, everything,... etc. But I also have my 15 year olds photos on there and the world may come to an end if she loses that. :)
