Title: can not access web interface
Post by: micdon on June 05, 2009, 07:27:16 PM

I have a Linkstation model HD-H250LAN with firmware 6.0 (I know, probable old), I'm connected to a home network and the drive has worked flawlessly since I bought it.  I can ping the Linkstation from my home pc, however when I launch the IP utility, I can not access the web interface.

It had been driving me nuts since last night trying to upload pictures from my camera, not realizing that I made the Linkstation the main drive and not the back up location

anyone have anythoughts?  I've rebooted the station and I can still ping but no luck on interface, even directly from various browsers

Try updating the firmware.  In order to do this you may need to visit our archived site.  There will be a link for it at the bottom of our downloads page
