Title: Plex Media Server / HD-LCU3
Post by: ezdowait on July 06, 2015, 08:34:28 PM
Hi All...
Have been using HD-LCU3 / 4TB as storage in conjunction with my Plex Media Server which I might add had been running flawlessly...
Just the other day; I noticed when I was going to copy over a new image; that I no longer had a drive letter for my HD-LCU3 and my Plex Media Server was also not running.

I've done everything I can think of to no avail; the device shows to exists without errors in Device Manager along side the USB mass storage controller; also appears in the device and printers.
Computer management / disk management also recognizes the device but the only options that remotely popup says I must initialize the disk 2 which results in the following options MBR and GPT -

GPT seems to do nothing; but MBR Fails with a CRC check... I happen to know this is not a CRC issue and I believe it to be a canned answer by the system.
I have had it working again successfully once and was able to watch/stream movies from the device and plex was working and updating; but since another reboot i have not gotten anything to work again.
Thanks for everyone's help.
