The video files I copied from my hard drive to my new LS-QL/R5 2.0T don't work.  The video will start, but freezes after a few seconds and then the player crashes.  I've tried recopying.  Same result.  I've tried RealPlayer, Windows Media Player, QuickTime Player and a few others.  Same result.  If it helps, I have a Dell Dimension 2400 with an Intel Pentium 4 processor (2.14 GHz) and 512MB of RAM running Windows XP Home Edition.  Anyone else have this issue?

Any help would be appreciated.

No solution, but I can identify.  I continue to have a problem when accessing (copying, playing, etc) more than one file (in my case, video files) causes my initial file access to stall. 

I'm running RAID 5.

I posted a while back and others are now saying they see similar issues when accessing multilple files.  The issue may not be noticed when accessing small files as they copy relativly quickly.

Thanks Slim.  From what I can understand in the string under your post (I'm not too savvy with this stuff), your problem is more an issue of playing more than one file at a time.  They may be related issues, but my problem seems to be a corruption of the file that occurred during the copying.  When I try to play the video files on my VLC media player I get a pop up message with the heading AVI Index.  The message says: "This AVI file is broken.  Seeking will not work correctly.  Do you want to try to repair it?"

Anyone else having this problem?
