Title: Linkstation Quad DirectCopy of Canon RAW
Post by: fmahmoud on June 04, 2009, 12:41:56 PM
I have just purchased a Linkstation Quad (2TB), and would like to use the DirectCopy feature to copy Canon RAW files (.cr2) from a Compact Flash card via the USB drive input. However, reviewing the product manual, .cr2 files are not supported and did not copy when I tried it. Does anyone know of a solution or workaround for this?

The USB ports on this device are only used for printers, external hard drives, and UPS battery backups.  The device will not pull any information from a usb flash drive.

So if I hook up a USB card reader and put a CF card in the slot, it won't read it?
