Title: LS-CHL not staying connected to network
Post by: Hollywood on June 04, 2009, 07:16:05 AM

My LS-CHL is having trouble staying connected to a network. I reboot the NAS and it will come back online, but will eventually drop off the network again, sometimes within minutes.

This is definitely not a network issue as every other device stays connected without a problem.

What firmware version are you using?

What is you're operating system?

Are you mapping to it using the Nasnavigator utility or are you going through the run prompt/connect to server?

Try mapping to it using \\ipaddress in the run prompt if you're using windows or going to connect to server and typing smb://ipaddress if you're on a mac. If you still see no change, try updating the firmware.

How long have you had the unit for? Has this problem just started, or have you encountered it since you first purchased the unit?

FW 1.06

WinXP Home

using the run prompt. The problem with that is not the name, it is that it can't find that IP on the network.

I've had this for a month or so, the problem has been intermittent since having it.
