Title: Linkstation - LS-320GL - Can't access folders
Post by: jetb2 on June 03, 2009, 06:35:14 PM

I can't access the folders of my NAS linkstation. Correction...I can access them but they show nothing and folders contents list empty. This is on Mac and Windows. I have updated the firmware and reset to default. I can open any file on the drive. I can navigate into any folder but they're empty. I keep trying to login as admin and it 'sticks' as guest.

 Any thoughts/recommendations/need for more info?

How are you trying to access them?  Is it through a mapped shared folder?  Because when you map an unrestricted share it will automatically sign you in as a guest.  Do you have access restrictions set up?

Can you access your data via \\IP of the linkstation in the run command?

I'm accessing it mainly on the Mac. But when I tried accessing it on the PC I explicitly tried connecting as admin and it still won't work.
