Hi i have a linkstation ls-vl which has desided to stop working, i noticed it was making a funny noise and the ifo led is flashing red 7 times could somebody help me out? i cant find it on nas navigator so have no idea what firmware it is running and when i tried to update the firmware the updater doent find thr linkstation either?

I would expect it's the error E16 : Unable to find the hard drive. The drive may be disconnected or may have failed.
