Title: Linkstation LS-X1.0TL-EU
Post by: craigs85 on April 14, 2015, 07:27:09 AM
Hi there.
I've been using the Linkstation LS-X1.0TL-EU for a year or so now with very few issues.

Recently it has just dropped off the network and cannot be found anymore.

I've tried a different port in the router, a different cable, and I've also plugged it into the Ethernet port of a laptop and tried to find it this way.

I have tried using the NAS Discovery software but it cannot locate it, and I've also tried browsing in windows explorer by the name of the device, and also the IP address, but to no avail.

I can ping the IP address that is given to the device, and I get a response (just adding this as extra info)

Can anybody help please?

I was experiencing same problem on my linkstation ls-xl.
I turned off all the firewalls and run NAS Navigator just after booting the device and found out that it run in EM mode.

Then I reinstalled the firmware and NAS came to life again.
