Title: bit torrent in "auto-mode"
Post by: scimmiettarossa on March 25, 2015, 05:59:03 PM
hi all
I set my LS-WXL (RAID1) in power mode "AUTO", switching it on automatically when needed from a MAC (by means of NasNav2) or from Linux (by means of a script periodically sending a wakeonlan signal)

When I stop the above services (or I switch the clients off), after 10 minutes the LS-WXL shuts down, correctly... unless it is performing some maintenance activity (correctly, again)

The question is: what happens if I switch the cliets off but on the Linkstation a torrent download is on-going? does it shut down after 10 minutes, or does it wait fot the torrent to complete?

thanks

rosanna

It will shutdown even if the torrent hasn't completed.
