Title: How can I get my new LS210D0201 to recognize my old HD-HG400LAN?
Post by: shop10210@gmail.com on March 21, 2015, 10:01:53 PM
I have a new LS210D0201 and an old HD-HG400LAN.  I'd like to use the HG400 as the backup for the LS210, but the LS210 does not "see" the old HG400.  I can access both from PC's and the NAS Navigator2 software sees them both.  But the LS210 does not show up in the list of "found" LinkStations so I can't directly back them up to one another.  I could of course copy files through a PC, but I was hoping to do overnight automatic backups without PC intervention.

I believe my HG400 has the latest firmware available (1.42).

Any ideas?  If this can't work... is there a way to turn the HG400 into a USB drive to hang off the LS210?

Thanks!
John
