Title: LS-WXL Partition not found. Aborting firmware update
Post by: Samaf on February 26, 2015, 08:27:45 AM
Hi,
My two hard disks are dead, I've replaced two other hard drives. Knowing that the firmware on the drives, not a good start to the NAS without an error.
So I did everything you need but I have this error when I have to put the firmware.
Here is the configuration screen:

The two hard disks are without MBR partition. Even if I create a ext2 partition, ntfs or fat that but the same error.

Cordialy,
Samaf

Post a screenshot of the LSUpdater.ini file, you probably forgot to alter the noformatting option from 1 to 0.

If you don't do this and still select the rebuild partition table it will still not be able to format the disks.

Now I have a big problem, the nas reboots constantly as if there was no hard drive inside.
