Title: TS5400R admin password reset
Post by: ricc75 on February 02, 2015, 10:17:00 AM
Hi,
I forgot the admin password of my TS5400R.
Is it possible to reset it? Could you please give me the right procedure to do this?
I tried this http://forums.buffalotech.com/index.php?topic=18348.msg73562#msg73562
without success.

Thx, riccardo

Hi,

I was able to boot TS5400R in EM mode. Then I open TSupdater.ini file
but I did not find "Debug" option. I changed only Noformatting to 0.
Then I run TSupdater.exe, I right click the title bar but no Debug option appear
so I cannot tick "force update" and "delete user data partition".

What is wrong in my procedure? Why right clicking title bar no option appear?

thx, riccardo
