I don´t know, if the is not already discussed. If not, I own 4 Buffalos, but one refuses service. Means when powered on, the power LED starts blinking, I hear access to the disk and then nothing, exept the blinking LED. I have tried a Reset, this ended up in continuing blinking power and function LED. I disconnected the power and startet again, which leaves me in the above described state.
It would be grateful, if someone can give me a hint!

So try powering it down. remove one drive. doesnt matter which one. power it back on. Same issue?? power it down. but the drive back in that you removed, and take out the other one. (DONT MIX THEM UP). power on and see if its the same issue. If so let me know. Ill give you another set of instructions. If it works let me know. Which ever drive you have out is most likely bad and needs to be replaced.
Sorry for being late with my answer. I have solve the problem by exchanging the power-supply to the box. Then I could work with it again. Discarded the power-supply which caused the problem and got a new one.
