Title: Audio and Video file format support
Post by: dloose on May 31, 2009, 08:08:03 AM
I have looked all over this site and these forums for an explicit list of supported file types. I have ~10K flac files that I stream from a PC but I would like to use a NAS. Very simple: does the Linkstation LS-XHL support streaming of flac files?

I'd also like to know.

Can't see any confirmation if it supports flac or not.

Can someone confirm or point me to a list of supported codecs.

With Twonky and a lot of media clients  you have to edit the config files to get it to show FLAC. Since you can't get at the config files on a NAS drive I'd say no.  I will have this tested for you and let you know if it is possible.
