Title: Upgrading my firmware
Post by: attroll on January 09, 2015, 08:41:01 AM
Please forgive me if this question has been asked before. I searched these forums and could not find the answer.

I was to upgrade my firmware on my TS5800D6C6 from 2.60-2.23 to 2.60-2.23.

I understand that I download the zip package, unzip it and put it on the TeraStation and then run TSUpdater.exe.

My question is, can I run the firmware upgrade without worrying about losing anything on my TeraStation?

You will be fine, Just run the update and thats it. If you are worried about ever losing data. You should buy another one to have a backup. Have one source of location where your data is at is not a backup even with redundancy.

Also dont put it on the TeraStation. Download, unzip and run on your desktop.
