Title: Directory search now working
Post by: attroll on December 30, 2014, 04:08:06 PM
I have a new Buffalo NAS and when I do a search in one of my directories for a file it will not bring up all the proper results.
If I do a search for anything with the name "shirt", it only brings up one result when I have several files with the name shirt in it.
I have an older Buffalo NAS and when I do searches, I do not have this problem.
Is there a setting on the new NAS that I need to change or set up?

Can you list the model and firm version you unit is.

The one that is having the search issues is a TS5800D6C6.
The firmware says it is the latest when I try to update it. It is 2.60-2.23.

The latest firmware is 2.80 download below.

Here is the change log as well.

See if you are still having issues with it after update.

I finally got around to doing the firmware upgrade and I am still having the same search problems after the upgrade.
What else can I do to make this work? As I said my other Buffalo NAS works with searches but this one does not seem to do a complete search.
