I recently bought 2 HD-CE1.OTU2-EU DriveStations and one is working OK, but the other isn't. It shows in my drive list as a 'Local Disk' but when I select it I get a 'Drive is not formatted' message. I've tried formatting it & it's then OK until I close down and then on re-start I get the format message again.
This happens whether both drives are plugged in or just the one.
I've read that there are problems with some drives when going into hibernation and that a firmware update is available. I've found the firmware on the Buffalo site, having selected my region as Europe, but when I try to download the update I enter my serial number but always get an Invalid Serial error.
Any suggestions would be most appreciated
