Title: Error Code 77
Post by: Big Jo on December 30, 2014, 12:19:20 AM
Morning,

I have a Terastation TS-XL 6Tb configured with Raid 5, yesterday I replaced Disk1 as it failed with bad sector, I received an email this morning saying:

RAID rebuild notice

Target array:RAID Array 1 (md2)
Target disk:"Disk 1"

RAID array rebuild is complete.

However the 4am Activity Report shows Error 77 on Disk2 (see below)

Can anyone kindly let me know what error code 77 means please? I am out of spare disks, do I need to replace Disk2??? THanks for your help.

Kind regards
Jo

You dont need to replace disk 2 just yet but in the future you will. You can do a check disk and see if the number increases. If you get more notifications and you notice it is increase every time. replace it. It will fail sooner or later.
