Title: LS-QL/R5 Linkstation Quad 4 bay harddisk can ping but no response

I buy Linkstation Quad 4 bay harddisk and setup Raid 10.

 

I use it for a while yesterday I do some backup configuration and want to restart. After restart from web console the LS hang. After wait for a while i decide to unplug.

 

After that it is not functional anymore. I can still ping its IP address but i cannot open web interface or using share drive anymore. 

 

what should i do ? I need the data back.

 

according to its manual i try to do initialization but it is not work. it still using fixed IP i setup. After read this forum i think i should try flash firmware. but how can enter EM Mode ?

 

I don't see how to enter EM Mode for my model in this forum.

I try to follow your instruction. by do this step

 

1. shutdown LS

2. Press Function button for 6 seconds

3. while press function button press power button. Function light will blink.

4. let go function button for 1 second then power light will up

5. Press function button again for 6 second then let go.

6. After wait for a while it will have solid power light and blink function light.

 

is it SM Mode? however the IP address is not change to 192.168.11.150 . it still use fixed ip address that i setup.
