Title: Windows Explorer asking for password
Post by: drito on May 11, 2009, 03:12:42 PM

it seems now everytime i click on the TS in Windows Explorer it asks me to login where as before it did not. I have to use the admin and the admin password to gain access to it.

I have a Terastation Pro 4 TB model TS-RHTGL\R5 with F/W 1.33.

It is in Microsoft AD just fine and once i put the user/pass it works fine.

I did at one time turn on the access restirctions under the shared folder but then turned it off after i realized i did not need it, that is when it started all this.

Thanks for the help in advance.

Restart your computer, remap the drive

Make sure access restrictions is disabled

Try joining AD with the TS again.
