Title: Linkstation HD-H250LAN
Post by: rzunig1 on May 10, 2009, 12:06:40 AM

Hello, I have a Linkstation HD-H250LAN.  I'm wondering if it's possible, that when I have an external USB drive connected to the linkstation, to see it when I FTP to the linkstation?  So far, my tests have been unsuccessful.

I have an external USB drive connected to the linkstation, and I can see it and connect to it fine when on my own network, but when I am not at home and I FTP to the linkstation, I see all of my folders, but not the usbdisk1 folder, which is the external drive.

Is it just not an option on this older model linkstation, or is it not an option at all, even on newer linkstations?  I could not find anything in the user guide, regarding this.

Thanks.

The usbdisk on this machine is mounted automatically and as a user there is no way to change the default settings. Unfortunately these default settings do not contain any FTP settings. So the answer is a very clear no I'm afraid to say. Missed the function my self the time I used it...
