Title: ls421 streaming speed
Post by: toolmaster on December 18, 2014, 12:05:40 PM
I've got the ls421de running in mirrored mode with 2 seagate 4TB NAS drives.

Just for testing, I put some pictures and videos in a folder and activated DLNA for that folder.

I'm currently on a wireless laptop which gets sustained 3.5MB/s transfer rates to that particular folder when moving a file into it. I'm trying to stream a 135MB video file that is 64 seconds long. It would seem to me that the required transfer rate for that file would be 135/64 or 2.1MB/s, however the video file is choppy and stops to buffer often.

Am I missing something?
