Title: Cannot Add directory in TeraStation PRO II
Post by: edidas on May 08, 2009, 10:39:44 AM

Simple network, without domain controller

TeraStation has 2 hard disks in DriveTray1 and DriveTray2

Firmaware  1.33

On "Shared folders" section, button "Add" is disabled (i tried when no RAID, or RAID1). How add directories?

Sorry about the late reply, edidas.

My answer assumes you only have the two disks, i.e., no disk 3 or 4.

Make sure the RAID array or each disk is formatted XFS. You can do this in Disk Management-> Disk Format. I'll test you particular setup in our TS Pro II to see if I can confirm your issue.

Ok I was able to test the setup, and it appears that the device will not allow you to create shares when all four disks are not installed.
