My home network uses a WZR-HP-G300NH (DD-WRT). It's been running perfectly for 6 years. I just replaced my 10 year old SB5120 cable modem with a new Zoom 5341j. The modem works fine when directly connected to the computer, but when connected to the router the router shows WAN IP 0.0.0.0. I've done everything suggested by Cox and Zoom. I thought it was a problem with the modem not releasing the previous MAC address, but I've connected it to two computers and a Netgear router with no problems. Here are a few things I've tried:
1. power cycle every device in different orders
2. clone MAC address from computer on router
3. reset modem
4. reset router to factory defaults
5. made sure the router was switched to On and rebooted (it had been set to auto previously)
6. I'm sure the modem is connected to the internet port on the router (everyone keeps asking me that)

I can't connect to the modem's page at 192.168.100.1 through the router, but I can directly from computer. Zoom said the router might be using that address for something else, but it's the same address that the Motorola used and it always worked.

I am bringing this up from the dead as it is exactly my problem.  WAN IP = 0.0.0.0, no connection through the G300NH router, can connect the modem directly to the computer and it will work. 
Had a previous setup that was working fine with a different router.  Have done hard resets of both the modem and router, no luck.  All kinds of thoughts. 
I have had lots of issues with this particular router in other setups - is this a dud as I see it pop up on lots of threads with problems?
Any ideas on how to get the router to recognize the modem is appreciated.
