Title: LinkStation CH1.0TL
Post by: knight2204 on November 11, 2014, 07:54:31 PM
Hello,
My linkstation blinks red light 7 times, I searched on internet and see this problem: Problem with the RAM, Ethernet Controller, or IDE Host Controller.
Did my linkstation really get this problem? And How can I fix this?

Thank you.

You can buy another hdd and open the case of the linkstation. install the linkstation and research how to tftp the unit and hope it works. 50/50. Or you can buy a newer unit with 2 hdd bay. I recommend that since if you ever have a failed disk you will have the other disk running and it would be a simple replace and rebuild array. Up to you.
