Title: HD-PEU2 problem with TurboUSB in Vista
Post by: final on May 06, 2009, 10:42:47 AM

I just got the hard disk today, it works properly after I plug in.

However, after I have installed and enabled the turboUSB and

followed the instrustion to unplug and plug in again,

I have a problem which is the computer cannot recognize the hard disk anymore.

In the device manager, I can no longer see the hard drive and only can see USB mass storge device change to USB mass storge device (TurboUSB) with problem that "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)".

It works fine when I disable the TurboUSB and reinstall the drivers.

Do anyone have any ideas?

Was the software installed from the CD or the website? Also, I don't believe the TurboUSB software really messes too much with the registry although I would suggest an uninstall and re-install.
