Title: reset
Post by: hero-admin on November 04, 2014, 07:03:05 AM
Hello,

I have the problem, that I can´t restore a TS-XL/R5.
I suppose an administrator disabled resetting in years before and I don´t possess username and password.
Is it possible to flash the NAS or delete the OS and install a new OS or is the NAS lost forever?
With best regards

Boot it into Emergency mode and delete the user data partition when reinstalling the firmware.
