Title: setup Twonky LS421DE
Post by: tleparskas on October 28, 2014, 02:03:54 PM
I have an LS421DE Navstation and I am able to use DLNA successfully to send video to a WD LIVE TV box through WiFi.

What is Twonky and how do I install it? Don't remember anything about it in the initial setup - did this over a year ago.

I now want to stream iTunes music from the 421. Do I need Twonky to do it?

Pretty hard to find info anywhere on the website or it forum.

Thanks

Tom

Twonkey  us the DLNA client used to stream/share music/videos with other dlna devices. The linkstation comes installed with this. I dont think some of itune music will work since there is a DRM on the music it could cause an issue. Merely put the music in the folder that is for streaming and you should see the music if the drm isnt a issue on whatever device you are trying to use.
