Title: Buffalo Drivestation cant acces Network folders?
Post by: kjems on May 06, 2009, 05:02:59 AM

Hello!

I have just formatted my Drivestation(2share) with NTFS filesytem. I can see all content clear via USB.

I have made an admin password and given the disk an IP of my choice.

Now i cant access the disk-folders via the IP - I write \\IP  in browser i have to put in a user and password. But the admin login dosent work??

If i go to admin page via http://IP i can login without promblems and if i plugin the USB cable i can also see all content.

I have tried to enable "Password Protection Function" under Security, but then i get an error "General Error"

How du i setup a shared folder and connect to via Network - i dont mind the login as long as i know what to write ;-)

Kindly Jesper
