Title: LS-CHL-V2 NAS with other player
Post by: NARI.LEE on October 21, 2014, 02:03:24 AM
Hi, I'm making dlna player that can use on PC.
I have some subtitle problems with LS-CHL-V2 Nas.
I found out that the subtitle didn't played on my player. But the subtitle was played well on the samsung TV.
So, I captured the packets between NAS and samsung TV. And catched a different command(HEAD+getCaptionInfo) and response.

So, I wondered that I use this http request to get the subtitles.
And Is it specification between NAS and samsung TV?????
If it is spec between NAS and samsungTV, is there another way to get the subtitle???? (I checked other devices BUT, Samsung TV is the only device to play the subtitles well.)

in all honesty get download and use vlc. Unless you have to do this for  project i wouldn't waste my time. There is no difference in dlna signal. So that means it is something on your side of the player. What other devices have you checked. I can get subtitles on my laptop. tablet, pc, phone (Android and iphone), TV, Xbox PS3, and xbox one. Also is the subtitles built in the video or are you using a external file for subtitles. All of mine are built in the video.
