after we upgraded master AD server to 2012R2 (it used to be 2008R2) my linkstation (firmware 1.65) cannot join our active directory nor NT domain.
I have several of them and was never able to make AD work but the NT domain used to be OK.
My settings are :
Domain name : NetBIOS domain name
Domain Conytroller : master AD server short name
Administrator name : domain admin user
Admin password : password without special characters
WINS : master AD IP address
The master AD Server is running Windows 2012R2 (AD level is still 2003) and is not located on the same subnet and site than the NAS.
It never was, and it used to work. The only thing that changed is the OS (unless we made a mistake).
Can anyone help?

Hi, I have a unit of Buffalo Technology LinkStation Duo 4 TB (2 x 2 TB) Network Attached Storage LS-WX4.0TL / R1 and was integrated into an AD with MS Windows 2003 Server. I made a migration from MS Windows 2003 MS Windows Server 2012 R2 64 as support MS Windows Server 2003 term.
Unfortunately the unit can be integrate to the domain in WS 2012, but to domain users asks them authentication to access their shared folders.
Something this doing wrong?, Is have any guide?
