Title: LS210D restore problem
Post by: ddatdd on September 24, 2014, 09:45:42 AM
I received LS210D0301 from Dell. Setup initially without problem. not try to shutdown or reboot and transfer around 2TB data from other server as beckup, then shutdown and restart 2 times. but then after it want boot any more.  I would like to move to other room.
I keep it in booting mode for 3-4 days still white power light flashing only.
Try to boot few times but fail. then try to restore with function button.  use Function button at back . guide as http://cdn.cloudfiles.mosso.com/c85091/LS200SeriesManual.pdf page 86
put 2 days in restore mode with both light flash white nothing happen.
My problem is NAS is not detected in NAS navigator also not detect by LSUPDATER.

I would like to restore to factory default any  help please.

i have the exact same problem. any idea how to fix this.
i have only about 40GB of data on the drive.
any help would be highly appreciated,

The linkstation won't boot up, i assume. Only thing it is doing with the fuction button is that it goes to the revovery mode with both the led flashing white, however its not detected by NAS navigator or the router, no IP is assigned to the linkstation since i checked the DHCP client list. also i cant figure if it will accept TFTP transfer. please help if anyone has any idea how to fix this.

thanks
