Title: Problem moving files on LS210 (Mac)
Post by: thomashayes on August 30, 2014, 09:09:41 PM
Hi Guys,

New to the forums, I did a bit of searching but couldn't quite find anything that matched the issue I'm having.

My set up:
LinkStation 210, connected via ethernet to my Buffalo AirStation router. MacBook Pro (Mac OS X 10.9.4) with the latest version of NAS Navigator connected to the AirStation via WiFi.

My Problem:
So, I log in to the NAS Navigator app using the admin username and password. I mount my 'Shared' folder which everyone has R/W access to. I try to move a folder from one directory to another by dragging and dropping. Simple so far.

Mac OS X asks me for my Mac OS X account password (for some reason) - I enter my password and hit OK. The Mac makes that 'clunk' noise that signifies that a file/folder has been moved - but nothing happens. No attempt to move anything.

Any ideas? Driving me crackers!

Cheers,

Tom, UK
