Title: Unable to open files through web access
Post by: gamidnightrider on October 22, 2008, 10:00:16 PM
I purchased a LS-WTGL/R1-V3 F/W 3.07 but when i go online and try to see files like a pdf it will not open them. Anyone have any idea what might be causing this? i have walked through the user guide step by step. I need to be able to open, save, copy and print these files. Any ideas ?

Do you have port 9000 open in the router to the nas's IP?

Can you put in the IP address of your WAN then : 9000?

Also make sure you have the service enabled

Every router is different, find out who makes it, then give them a call and tell them to open port 9000, to the IP address of your buffalo, using TCP/IP.

That will solve it.
