Title: Lost data on Ministation HD-PSU2
Post by: potcake on May 02, 2009, 12:54:06 PM

My ministation was working fine,  I now have a green light that flickers to yellow, and while it shows up on my computer as a disk drive, it shows up as an unformatted one..

Please advise..  I run windows xp and can't do a chkdsk on it - that errors out.  I also can't access the disk through my recover data program and when I double click on it, it just asks to be reformatted...

I can feel the disk spinning, and the light is usually green  until I try to access the disk, then it goes yellow,

Thanks for any advice...

I would recommend seeking out a third party data recovery center. The drive may be spinning but the reader might be malfunctioning.
