Title: iSCSI firmware upgrade for Terastation

I have a TS-RX40TL-R5 device which I believe is also know as Terastation III. I am currently running FW V1.61. Is it possible to upgrade this device so that it supports iSCSI? If so, will converting to iSCSI erase current data on my hard drives?
