Title: Remove Drive from Drive Tray
Post by: anadelman on July 22, 2014, 10:00:37 AM
I have a Terastation 420 and wanted to replace a hard drive.  I removed the 2 screws from the bottom of the drive tray, but am unable to get the drive out.  It feel like its glued or taped in.  I didn't want to apply too much force.

How do I get it out?  Or don't I?

Is it a Terastation 4000 series you have or a Linkstation 420? Eitherway, the disks are never glued to the caddies.

Sorry.  It's a Linkstation 420.

If they're not glued, how do I remove them from the tray?  They don't want to budge.
