Title: Verify Raid 1 Working
Post by: KayEee on July 15, 2014, 10:31:44 AM
I'm a Newbie so pardon me if this has been asked/answered before.  I have a LS421DE with 2 2TB Drives Installed.  I believe I have the NAS comfigured propeerly for Radi 1.  How do I tell if Raid 1 is really working.  I can only see the folders/files on drive 1.   Is there a way to view the files on drive 2?

Thanks,

Run the NAS navigator and it will say it at the bottom of the application beside the storage used.

If it's RAID 1, your data should be copied (identical) on both drives. So it only shows one file -- not a file on "drive 1" and another file on "drive 2", just one file on your "Array 1".
