Hi all,

I know this topic might be a bit old but I am having this issue now, I can't reset admin password of my Buffalo Linkstation LS-CHL V2 even after reset it to the default settings. I saw in previous forums that a tool called LSRecovery.zip and some instructions where provided, none of these links would work now so I am opening this new topic hoping to find some help.

Yes, I am having the same issue which is very frustrating. Technical support could not help.

Of course just a fair warning, NO ONE is responsible for anything that happens when you use things. there is a 20% chance of you data being wiped. 100% chance if you are using a cloudstor unit. You use this at your own RISK!! Also i believe if you just call customer support and request a password reset, then will give you info to mail your unit to buffalo and they will reset your password but they are not liable for any of your data either.. so.. same vote?? eh just information im providing.

Had same problem on LS-CH-2, no help from tech support. Used utility show here, everything now good. Thank You

Tech Support cant give you the tool since they no longer have it due to the HUGE security risk it brings. :D so dont blame tech support. Not saying you do just telling everyone.
